Born in Bordeaux in 1981, Diane Chirat-Battello studied oboe and english horn at the CNR and also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology.
After 4 years in the class of Jean-Louis Capezzali, principal oboe of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, Diane graduated from the National Conservatory of Music of Lyon.
Throughout her career, she has improved her art with great masters such as Alain Denis and François Leuleux.
She is regularly invited in prestigious orchestras such as the National Orchestra of Ile de France, the Opera of Lyon and the National Orchestra Bordeaux Aquitaine. Since 2007, she has been Principal Oboe of the Colonne Orchestra in Paris directed by Laurent Petitgirard. Based in the PACA region, Diane regularly works in parallel with her position at the Colonne Orchestra with the Orchestras of the region such as the Cannes Regional Orchestra PACA, the Nice and Monaco Philharmonic Orchestras, and the Toulon Opera.
And it is with pleasure that she sets up chamber music programs as soon as she has the opportunity.
